Colours of Tyndall (4 days / 3 nights)

Day 1:
You will be met by a company representative and transferred by private transport. This service is available from inside Torres Del Paine National Park (Hosteria las Torres, Pudeto, Hosteria Grey), from your hotel/hostel in Puerto Natales or directly from our operation base. Your trip will begin at the Serrrano river sector (located at the southern border of Torres del Paine National Park), here we will prepare and distribute the kayaks and begin with the safety and paddling instructions. Our guides will help to recommend the appropriate equipment you will need to take during the trip and the rest of your luggage will be taken directly to Puerto Natales by a private transfer and will be stored in the Indomita - Bigfoot office. During this day we will paddle for approximately 2 hours across the first section of the Serrano river, this is a calm zone and gives us the opportunity to see and assess the level and comfort of kayakers during paddling. The first team activity will take place on arrival at a small waterfall in the river and we will carry the kayaks roughly 100 meters. Depending on weather conditions and the number of daylight hours remaining we will continue for either 1 or 2 hours before arriving at the camp for the first night .

Day 2:
Will start with a breakfast of fruit, cereal, whole meal bread, ground coffee and a specialty of the guide. Once our camp has been packed we will paddle into Tyndall River against the current for approximately 3 hours to the mouth of the lake, from here crossing glacial moraine through turquoise water. We will spend 1 hour paddling around the pristine countryside of the glacier Tyndall lake. When we arrive at the bay we will set up camp and have lunch returning to the water of the lake for around 2 hours where you will be able to appreciate the front of the glacier. After this we will return to our camp for dinner.

Day 3:
Begins with an early breakfast and after packing away our camp we continue our journey paddling back towards the Serrano river. Between terrain of the National Park and private land we will see views of native forests and glacier covered mountains of the Southern Patagonian ice field finally arriving at Puerto Toro in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. Here you will have the opportunity to walk the trail and visit the glacier lookout and it’s icebergs while your guide prepares the camp and dinner.

Day 4:

Will start early and depending on the weather conditions we will carry our kayaks 100m to the lagoon of the Serrano Glacier so that we can paddle among the icebergs to enjoy the intensity of colour and the surroundings until 11:00am. Before boarding the boat either the 21 de Mayo or DAgostini which departs at 13:00pm we will pack away our camp for the last time. We’ll stop off at the tourist complex “Estancia Perales to enjoy a farewell BBQ, the final activity of the trip. Arrival at Puerto Natales 17:00 hrs approximately. Transfer to Indomita – Bigfoot office.
